Overcoming an obstacle

So you have stopped making progress and you need to overcome your plateau then this is a great way to overcome that obstacle. Make sure that you are only using this technique on a limited basis. Supersets are only to be used as a way of overcoming a plateau.

Most people fall in love with supersets because it saves them so much time in the gym, but if you continue to do these over an extended period of time you will hender your strength gains and could suffer the risk of overtraining.

Alright, whatever your exercise is just take away the rest periods. When I do my chest workout I will doe one set of flat chest press and then immediately get up and do one set of a back workout. Keep alternating without any rest until you are done with the both of those particular exercises. Continue to do this for about two weeks.

Once you are done go ahead and test your max rep again.
