Over Training

What You Need to Know About Over Training

Most people I know who are suffering from over training never realize it and are themselves bewildered why they can’t reach their goals. This brings me back to an earlier point. I know if you go to the gym then you have noticed particular members exercising to the extreme everyday, but they seem to go no where. You can easily assume, that it’s their diet but what if they are over training and just don’t realize it.

So how do you know if you are over training? When you first begin exercising you are using light weight so it really doesn’t matter. But when you are using heavy weights (excluding cardio) you need to be in the gym for less than 7 hours a week. If you are in the gym for more than that and are working out the entire time then you are indeed over training.

What do you do? Try taking one month were you adjust your schedule so that you are only using weights 5-6 hours a week. Just try it, what’s it going to hurt? See how your body reacts to the change.

I have had a lot of emails about this page and they all say, “What about those hard-core body builders who have openly said they workout sometimes twice a day?” Easy answer, don’t do steroids. If you chose to use steroids then you will notice a huge urge to workout way more than you ever have before.

If you do tend to over train then I highly recommend this supplement:
